Sunshine’s Slush Cup Returns With Costumes, Crashes, And Cold Water
Banff Sunshine Village hosted its annual end-of-season pond skim Monday, with skiers and snowboarders attempting to glide across an icy pool in everything from cowboy outfits to Santa suits.
The annual Slush Cup returned to Banff Sunshine Village on May 18, drawing crowds of skiers and snowboarders looking to close out the season with one final run across the resort’s icy pond skim course. Some competitors made it across. Most absolutely did not.
