Bridge the gap between hiking and the summits.

There's a moment on a lot of Bow Valley hikes where the trail runs out and the terrain tips up, and knowing what to do next is the difference between turning around and topping out. This two-day clinic is built to close that gap. Day one is a full day of climbing with ropes, learning the fundamentals; day two puts them straight to work on a real scrambling objective.

We’ll cover equipment and packing, reading mountain weather, rock-climbing movement and belaying, using ropes, spotting terrain hazards, and the pacing, layering and nutrition that keep you moving on a long day out. It's practical, hands-on, and taught right in our own backyard.
